An uneventful flight. We tried, with modest success, to sleep.
The plan was to take a train from the airport to Delft. We wound up on an express train that doesn't stop in Delft. A quick change of trains in The Hague and our problem was solved.

We are staying in a small hotel on the Beestenmarket Square. Everything around us looks like storybook Holland. Because we are in the (very) old part of the city, there is very limited car traffic and lots of bicycles. Young, old and in between, they are all on bikes.
We visited the Vermeer center, took a much needed nap, and toured a couple of old churches. Its amazing to think of what it took to build these towering buildings, all with only hand tools. Then again, it took in excess of a hundred years to finish.
Tonight's big decision will be where to have dinner. There are lots of choices.
