We haven't spoken abut the weather, and for good reason. Its been cloudy and mostly raining. The rain has been more gentle mist and less real rain for the most part. It hasn't yet put a damper on our sightseeing. That's a good thing because it looks the weather we have is the weather that's going to continue.
Today was the day for our Rick Steves-inspired walking tour of Brugge around the Market Square, Bell Tower, Burg Square,the Basilica of the Holy Blood and more. Truth is, its fun just walking around a city this old and this well preserved. We spent quite a while in the Groeninge Museum looking at Flemish art before we realized how thirsty we were and headed down the street to a pleasant little place with a great view. We sat outside under an awning and enjoyed the rain, a beer and each other's company. A little chocolate on the way back to our B+B, a little chance to clean up, and now its time for dinner.
