We did our last museum today, popularly known as the Rick by those who have no clue how to pronounce the proper Dutch name. I think we pretty much have our fill of Dutch art from the Golden Age.
The weather was relatively pleasant today, so we enjoyed the walk to the museum and from the museum to Dam Square, where we had a cup of coffee and watched the people go by. Why is it that by the time you feel like you know your way around, its time to leave?
We have had our fill of food that includes "flemish" in the description. "Flemish" just sounds too much like "Phlegmish". Actually, the two sound exactly alike, don't they?
So, we took a long walk tonight along the canals and through the squares to an Argentine restaurant and had a nice steak.
We have had a good time and have enjoyed all we have done. The real bottom line to this trip, as with our other trips big and small, is that we enjoy each others company.
That makes every trip and every experience a good one.
